and it appears as an external drive on your desktop (at least it does on my Mac - I guess it's equally easy for PC users). It also comes with Kodak PhotoImpression software, which was very easy to insttall and has some useful features (eg letting you put multiple photos on one page to save on printing costs, and cool slideshow options) but overall isn't up to the standards of Adobe PhotoDeluxe, which I still use for most of my retouching. (NB again, these comments are based on the Mac - the CD also includes PC software but I'm not sure what this is). So yes, in answer to one user's queries, it is Mac-compatible (as long as your Mac has a USB port). ...

The battery life is not very impressive, I found that several sets of rechargable batteries (only 1 set of Alkaline batteries are included) are a must (2 x AA). There is no DC adapter included, so you will need a seperate battery charger for this. The LCD screen can only be used for a short amount of time before the battery runs dry. You have to keep the camera very still, as it blurrs very easily, this can be tricky when viewing using the LCD screen and not the viewfinder. ...
