Kodak Easyshare DX3700 ... So you need a camera that can capture all of its special moments. Check out the Kodak EasyShare DX3700. It has 3.1-megapixel resolution for excellent picture quality - up to 11" x 14" - for those pictures you'll want to share with family and friends. And when it comes to getting closer to the fun, the 3x digital zoom does the job. The DX3700 has 8MB of internal memory built right in so you'll never miss a shot. If you've filled your camera to capacity but there are still great pictures to be taken, don't worry - the DX3700 has a MultiMediaCard/Secure Digital memory card (MMC/SD) expansion slot, so you'll have plenty of memory to keep on shooting with optional MMC/SD memory cards.

If you use the optional Kodak EasyShare Camera Dock, sharing is just as easy. Simply place your DX3700 in the dock, touch the button, and pictures are automatically sent to your computer ready for e-mailing and printing. The Camera Dock will also recharge your camera's battery pack, so you'll always be ready to take more pictures.

The screen on our first camera also burnt out. Kodak kindly replaced it for us, but said that it was charging it that had caused it to burn out. It's not very robust either. We're now on our third camera! ...more

The DX3700 is a very easy to use little camera - compact and well designed. The Easy share software is great and makes downloading picyures very easier, even for the computer illiterate. It also gives high photo quality. However... There is a really problem with charging the camera. The charger cuts out after about 10 or 15 minutes charging - this appears to be a problem with the make, rather than just our camera, as my husband's uncle has expreienced the same problem with his camera. One has to lift the camera up and down every few minutes when it is charging, to fool the docking system into charging it a bit more. We took the camera on ...

As a parent of 5 kids I think a digital camera is a must. One of the advantages of a digital camera has to be the fact that developing the pictures costs nothing. If you are an expert photographer like me…lol! you will know that you spend a fortune getting your pictures developed, wait a couple of days in anticipation for those fantastic snaps and then when they come back there are about 2 good photos. Three with the heads chopped off, two with fingers over the lens, four that are so dark you can’t see what they are supposed to be, one of the floor, one of the inside of your bag and two with so much red eye your subjects could join Demons ...

As an applied arts student who is actively encouraged to use digital photography, I wanted a camera that was easy to use and could take close-ups to show details of surfaces etc. The Kodak DX3700 is what I ended up with, so here's my op: Digital cameras go up in price according to the resolution in terms of pixels per inch. Basically, the higher the number of pixels, the better the quality of picture you will get. More pixels give you more detail - if you take a photo of something on a low-resolution digital camera and then want to blow it up to an enlargement or even to a poster-sized print, what you will see as the print gets bigger is less detail and more ...
