Advantages: Cheap, Good features, Nothing much else

Disadvantages: Lack of quality

I bought this camera to replace my tired old Sanyo digicam (which was working fine, but I felt like a change). What a stupid idea that was - this camera from a supposedly reputable brand is badly built and riddled with annoying faults.

First off the viewfinder is blank - you can't see anything through it unless you zoom in, which is hardly ever the case, the dial for the mode selection and turning the camera on is sticky and you have to force it to move, the button for browsing the photos is also sticky and refuses to budge.

The quality of the photos is decent but it hates taking pictures in less than ideal light and the general quality of the photos is fading with age - it doesn't pick up certain light conditions any more, such as some sunsets.

The build quality isn't fantastic either, it scratches far too easily and the thin low-grade plastic would be easy to break.

With respect the camera has had a hard life, being used in extreme conditions (gigs, skiing, climbing) but the old Sanyo digicam had too and coped excellently despite being an older and cheaper design.

To sum up it's a decent enough camera technically but the details let it down.
