Advantages: fun video recording feature (not brill quality but good fun), nice pictures, easy to use
Disadvantages: not much flexibility with the picture quality, not pleased with the software-but really dont need it at all
I think that this is a brilliant camera overall.
I would advise people to not use the software provided cos it does wierd things with your pictures, like keep thumb nails even if you delete the image(i think it does this only if you delete the file from your windows file dirrectory-but lots of people do this). YOu don't really need the software anyway though-so its not a problem.
Would be better if kodak compressed the phot better when it is stored on the camera because it looses some of the quality through there file compression i think. It would be better if they just saved it as a standard jpg and allowed the user to adjust the compression and had more options that are picture quality related. Instead of asking how many pixels you want, it asks whether you want the picture to be in good, excellen or very good quality. I think it could do with a lot more flexibili9ty in this dirrection.
Having said that it is excellent for people unfamiliar with the jargon, very good to just pick up, go and take some stunning pictures, after all the qualities much better than film, just slightly disappointing they let themselves down on something so simple.
Very pleased with the buy and not overally pricey :)
