Advantages: Great price, great camera

Disadvantages: None

Wow what a bargin, I was looking for a cheap but decent digital camera to replace my Kodak EasyShare CX6330 which has served me very well for 5.5 years! I had a good look around for a bargin and spotted this in Tesco at just £44.97!! And so far I love this camera!
It is a 6.2 megapixel with a 3x optical zoom (for me this is important as with digital zoom you lose quality - optical zoom maintains the quality) It does have an additional 5x Digital zoom should you want to get even closer (but with a slight disruption in quality, however if you are printing only 4x6inch prints, it is unlikely there will be noticeable redcution in quality in this 6.2 megapixel camera).

The camera boasts a large 2.4inch (6.1cm) LCD screen, giving superb quality to allow users to asses the pictures before uploading them or printing.
There are 16 Scene and 3 colour modes available on the camera. Flash options include Auto flash - the camera will set the flash if the lighting conditions are low. Fill flash - sets the flash off each time a photograph is taken. Red-eye - the flash fires twice to reduce red-eye and the flash can be turned off.
The picture taking modes include Auto - for general picure taking, is easy to use. Digital Image Stabilisation - this is a great benefit which reduces the effects of camera shake (great for those with unsteady hands) and also subject movement. Close-up - For taking close ups, best used without flash.
The Scene modes include: Portrait; Night Portrait; Landscape; Night Landscape; Sports; Snow; Beach; Text/Document; Backlight; Manner/Museum; Fireworks; High ISO; Children; Flower; Self-Portrait; Sunset and Candlelight. These scene modes really give you every possible option for taking pictures in low-light and very bright light, they really have covered everything! Some of the low-light modes really require a tripod or a steady surface for the camera to be supported on as the shutter will be open much longer and subject to distortion of the image if there is any movement.
In addition to these there is a video mode (with sound), and a favourites option for storing favourtie pictures. A timer option is available and Info button provides help while using the camera.

Users can work with pictures and videos directly on the camera using Kodak Perfect Touch Technology to enhace picture brightness, and cropping function allows pictures to be cropped - removing unwanted parts round the edge or focussing on one part of the photograph. Videos can be edited making a picture from a video, or a video action print - a 4-, 9-, or 16-up picture.
Included in the box is the Camera, Camera strap, getting started guide with Kodak EasyShare software, 2 Kodak AA Batteries, USB cable and Inset for Optional Kodak EasyShare Docks.
