to go for this model as I wanted to get the best quality pictures possible at an affordable price. I looked at a few cameras and was swayed by Kodak because of their DX6000 photo printer. I had previously owned a Canon 35mm camera which I really liked, but after years of spending a fortunre on film developing only to get half a roll of decent pictures back I decided it was time to move on to digital. user and is good value for money. It produces high quality photos and with the easy to use software you can be printing photos in a matter of minutes. The only minor gripe I have with this camera is the fact that Kodak did not bother to print the manual. It is supplied on CD but is pretty hefty and I certainly wouldn't bother to print it out. wow. when most other camera were proudly boasting their pathetic 3.1mp, there was this Kodak, sitting there with 4.0 proudly stated on it's housing. The Kodak has very useful compactflash slot for it's storage. Comes with 16mb, which is pretty useless actually. I bought a 128mb card for the pictures, and it will store over 200 pictures on there. So it tells me. Useful too, as the compactflash is also supported by Cisco routers. Useful when you need to transfer a large IOS between two non-connected 3745 routers...
