Advantages: Lightweight
Disadvantages: Too many features?
I bought this camera after doing some extensive research on the internet and on recommendations from friends. I had previously owned a Samsung model and found that the picture quality was awful with only about 1 in 10 of pictures being distinguishable. This camera is completly opposite.
The picture quality is clear and crisp and the flash works with the surrounding light ensuring that the photos are not too bright or too dark. There are four setting that can be used when using the camera, video, automatic, digital image stabilization and scene modes. The digital image stabilization mode is an excellent addition and does not compromise the quality of the photo at all.
The scene modes are a selection of settings pre-programmed into the camera to adapt to different environments and situations. I can see where they could come in useful but they are not really vital in every-day photo taking. However I have yet to be on a beach or on some snow where I could use these settings so I cannot really make a suitable judgement.
As this model is part of the easy-share range, it comes with a 'share' button on the back. This enables you to tag a specific photo that you want to either email or print in the future, saving time sorting through if you have a lot of photos.
Altogether this is an excellent camera for the price that it is and I would recommend this to anyone looking to get quality pictures at a low price.
