Good camera for everyday use (Kodak Easyshare C813)

I was given this camera as a present about 6 months ago and I think it is great. I have not had any problems with it. It is compact, straight forward and easy to use. The display screen is a good size and the picture display is clear. The optical zoom produces images at a good quality. I find the digital image stabilization is very useful. If you are moving or just don't have a steady hand it helps reduce the bluriness of the image. The close up mode is also good. It helps to focus and produce a clear image of close up objects. The video mode is good - not the best quality but for a compact camera its good. I use a memory card in it which makes removing pictures easy but it does come with a lead to attach to a PC. Overall a good camera with all the features you need for every day use.

Summary: Good value, compact camera for taking out and about where big cameras and camcorders can't be taken
