The Kodak Easyshare CX7300 is, in every sense of the word, cheap and cheerful. I got mine at a very reasonable price (can't remember exactly how much though) about a year ago and it's lasted me without breaking down, losing quality, or so on.

The picture quality is really good, it's 3.2 megapixels, and it has a screen on the back so you can view what you're taking pictures of, and ones you've already snapped too.

There's a slot too for MMC cards so you can increase the memory if you so wish. There's even a tripod screwhole and a dock connector port.

However, the battery life leaves something to be desired - it runs from two AA's, and these will die on you within a few hours. Luckily the storage on the camera (and the card if you've put one in) is such that you don't lose your pictures if the battery dies, but still, it's a pain having to take a spare pair!

It's hardy even if, like me, you keep dropping it. It's even survived in a puddle!

All in all, a good little camera for the price if you don't mind having to buy (or recharge) batteries all the time.

Summary: Very strong little camera, but the battery life is a bit on the poor side.
