Advantages: Cheap. Sharp images

Disadvantages: Battery hungry. Audio not available during playback of videos ,need to hook up to a TV to have audio

I swapped cameras with my co-worker, letting him use a newer 4MP Olympus camera since I didn't like xD cards. This camera is a very simple & straight forward camera to use. The body is really plasticky & the Power/ mode dial above the camera is very stiff to turn. However, on the brighter side, since it is also the Power Switch, it can accidentally be turned on. Getting the camera ready for action really takes a while as needs to charge up the flash. This camera really sucks batteries, so you better have a spare pair of AAs handy. One should be careful not to drop it. My friend drop it and caused the battery compartment latch to break off. I sought a 3rd party repairman to modify the cover and I'm back in action. Overall, pictures taken are crisp & sharp. Focusing is a bit slow but accurate. A camera suitable for casual shooters.
