Advantages: Good quality photos and video, very easy to use, looks great, great price

I bought this camera after seeing an advertisement on TV as Currys were selling it at £79, reduced from £179, which I thought was a bargain for a 10MP camera, particularly a Kodak one. The camera looks great and is nice and small, yet the screen is large (3 inches) so that you can see your photos clearly. Turning the camera on, it loads very quickly, and the photos are taken very quickly, unlike some cameras where you're waiting for ages for the focus and the shutter, etc.

It has many different "scenes" that you can set it to, such as 'self-portrait', 'snow','beach', 'candlelight' even 'fireworks' so you can basically use the camera anywhere and be guaranteed to get the best settings. There's also a blur reduction feature which works really well, I managed to get an excellent shot of my budgie flying and looking right at the camera (he flies very fast - like a little bat!).

The video quality is excellent (another of the main reasons that I bought the camera), although I haven't yet viewed any of my videos in HD as I don't have the HD dock required. However, even without the HD the video quality is still excellent.

My only slight 'complaint' if that's what you would call it is that the battery doesn't seem to last long, but you can buy spare ones fairly cheap anyway in case you're taking it somewhere where you won't be able to charge it. Overall, I would definitely recommend this camera, it is very easy to use, it's literally just point and click, and so makes it ideal for beginners.
