Advantages: Takes HD stills!
Disadvantages: The wheel on the top can be annoying!
I got this camera as a replacement for my old camera which broke, and I have to say that for the first few times I used it I was not enthused. However, since using it a few more times I have discovered that this camera is actually very good! The picture quality is great - it takes HD stills! And even my 85 year old Grandad had no problem pointing and shooting it! I have recently used the video feature for the first time to capture some trampolining footage. I was dreading the result and expected it to be very blurry, but in fact I was in for a nice surprise. The footage came out with a slight blur but that is to be expected when filming high motion footage. The camera itself is small and compact and can fit into the smallest of handbags! The buttons are great and easy to use. The only downside I have found to this camera is that the wheel on the top of the camera often gets knocked round so it makes it harder to take a quick picture as you have to check it is on the right setting, but once you get into this habit there is not a lot else wrong with it. I think this camera is good value for money for the amateur photographer.
Summary: A good all round camera with surprisingly good video footage!
