This is the first digital camera I've had that's lasted a good few years, that I'm still happy with. Yes, there are cameras with far better quality pictures in terms of mega pixels, but any other simple 'point and click' camera can only do so much.
Firstly, this camera is quite compact and comes with a thick instruction manual, a CD to install the EasyShare software onto your PC, a mains charger, USB cable and carry strap. One disadvantage is that there is no case; however, I managed to pick a hard-case one up from the supermarket (exactly the right size) for 99p, which is a bargain.
It has sleek but easy to care for casing, and is simple to operate. There are also some fun features as regards lighting; you can choose settings designed specifically for portraits, long distance, candle light, flowers, fireworks and lots more. It has a big screen on the back allowing you to see easily exactly what's in your frame. The flash is also pretty powerful.
The software is easy to install and allows you to manage your photos and transfer them easily and quickly via USB. The albums are dated automatically, but you can choose to label them as you wish.
One of my favourite things about this camera is - no need for batteries! Let's face it, they die quickly and even if you use rechargeable, that's still a ton of extra things to take with you on holiday (batteries plus bulky charger). This camera plugs quickly into the mains and a green light flashes to confirm it's charging; once fully charged, three lights remain on until you unplug it. The battery lasts a good amount of time; in some cases I was sightseeing for a good 12 hours (switching the camera on and off a lot, too), and I was able to take hundreds of pictures without worrying.
I have put many pictures up on the Internet and people have frequently asked what camera I have, which speaks for itself really! I love this product, and even though I've had it for a long time and should upgrade, I can't bear to part with it just yet.
i brought this camera in hong kong last summer for aprox 150$ in sale
