Advantages: One of the best value for money cameras on the market.

Disadvantages: Still trying to find one....

This is the best digital camera i've ever owned!! I would easily recommend purchasing the V610 to anyone if its within your price budget.

I'm very much an amatuer photographer, and what makes this camera is the strength of the 10x optical zoom. While other cameras in the same price bracket will boast more megapixels (the V610 has 6mp), what they don't match is the strength of optical zoom.

There are over 20 scene modes, a fantastic panoramic picture stitching mode, the flash is excellent for low or non existent light shots, the dual lens is a great design feature and even the video function on the player is great too (although footage availability is dictated by your memory card size - there is 32mb built in)

To top it all off, the easyshare software thats bundled with the camera is very effictive and easy to use, with some great editing features...... and finally one thing that this camera also boasts is Bluetooth functionality too! So you can even transfer your pictures onto other Bluetooth devices too.... Very handy for when your friends want a copy of that captured moment on their phone!

All in all i've owned this camera for a year now, and i'm still finding new features on it... Top marks from me!
