I got this camera to take pictures of my niece when she was born, and to document her first year. I wanted to try to take a picture of her every day so that we could see her growing up, however, my dream was sadly very short-lived as it soon became apparent that this camera was not up to scratch.
The camera has a wide range of features which may or may not be the reason for its fatal flaw. A battery is supplied with the camera when you first purchase it, and the camera works fine with this battery. However, when this battery runs out, you of course will have to replace it, which is where the problems start. This camera eats up power from batteries like there is no tomorrow! I have found that even with a fully charged set of batteries, I can only take two pictures at the most before the batteries run out. I see little point in having a camera when you can hardly take any pictures.
The camera has 14 Mega Pixels so it does create very high quality images, if you ever get to take any. It also has a wide range of features with a good zoom and facial recognition. It can, in theory, take videos but the camera powers down as soon as you even switch to that option. It has a good size screen so you can see what you are taking a picture of clearly.
Overall, it is a good camera with good features, but it is pointless having it because of the power problems.
