I have to say that with this camera, I was very lucky. When I first got it a while ago I didn't know anything about what makes a good camera or what aids to creating a good picture and so it was more kind of like a lucky dip. I just needed a camera for family events and days out with my friends and other such things. Well it has turned out to be a pretty good camera, I could've ended up with something not quite so beneficial.
I bought it from Argos at a price of £150 however I now think it has been reduced to £120. It is a little pricey but you are getting what you pay for. The actual camera is not the smallest you could buy, but is not so big that it would be a bother to carry around. With 12 Mega Pixels and 5X optical zoom, the pictures that are produced are of a very high quality.
other features include:
- Records HD quality video at 720p (1280×720) at 30 fps
- 35'175 mm wide-angle lens
- SDHC/SD/MMC card expansion slot
- Automatically selects from ISO 100 to ISO 3200 based on lighting conditions
- 64 MB internal memory
There are a large number of other features and effects, but I'd be here forever if I listed them all.
The camera itself is easy to use. It can take a while to get used to some of the different effects that can be used, however once you have got the hang of it, it is very simple. With this camera, bad lighting is never a problem.
The Z1275 is loaded with user-friendly features so that handling all 12 megapixels is incredibly easy. Plus with high ISO capability, bad lighting won't stand in your way.
