When it comes to all things technological I am absolutely clueless...I am one of the very few people on the planet ( a dying species!) who does not use a mobile phone because I can't get to grips with it. The same goes with digital cameras... I have owned several in the past but they were too complicated for me to use. That's why I am absolutely delighted with the The Kodak Easyshare Z1285 that I have recently bought from Argos. I chose it because it had been greatly reduced to just over £100. Its main benefit for me is that it is so simple to use.... just point and click. Then to review just press on 'review' - simple , no problem even I can ... Read the complete review

I only bought this camera because I had saved up loads and loads on Nectar points over a couple of years and it was on sale in Argos (reduced from £299.99 to £109.99). I wouldn't naturally buy a Kodak camera because of the 'name' that it's given by all the big camera shops and snobby people who own 'SLRs' and other such several hundred pound cameras. However to my delight this camera is excellent. It's 12MP, so all pictures that are taken well are of an absolutely stunning quality. The video camera it has is HD and truly takes excellent videos. I wouldn't normally rate a camera for its video capabilities, but this one is ace. The zoom is awesome (better than ... Read the complete review

I was looking for a good camera that is sturdy, good quality and relitively cheap that i could take to Glastonbury 2008 to capture THE moments. I found this little gem on play.com for only £99, that is an offer i couldn't refuse. This has 20 main picture settings including panorama which enables you to take 3 pictures and the camera then stitches them together, landscape, night, snow, and fireworks. You can also have a timer to enable you to sprint to be in the photo too. There is also a manual setting which admittedly isn't hard to use but it does take time getting THAT setting. I currently have a 4GB SDHC card which allows me to take ... Read the complete review

This camera is in my opinion as good as it gets when looking for an all rounder, the image quality is crisp with a 12mp format and the HD video feature is brilliant for anyone who loves taking videos. This camera is for anyone who likes taking pictures and videos for recreational uses, if you're looking to get a camera that is great for taking action shots when watching the kids on the beach or a camera that takes perfect quality videos then I would seriously recommend this camera to you. With 20 different modes for taking pictures ranging from sun sets to sport shots the choice can't be any better. If you're someone who likes a bit more freedom then you can also go on ... I purchased the camera entirely for the easyshare feature. but after using it with all its features my views became very positive from this product. the camera is very compact for my taste, the screen is a decent size and the menu options are very straight forward to understand, all the added features like digital image stabilization(anti-wobble), red eye remover scene selector and action shot mode is great, even for an electronics novice. A camera with digital and optical zoom is always handy and for major zooms the stability was very encouraging. The HD video recording is also a great stand alone product in itself within the camera. whatever SD card you have for this ... Read the complete review
