Advantages: good value, great pictures, loads of features, excellent video.

Disadvantages: shaky picture without tripod on zoom shots, no sound on video playback, bit bulky.

had this camera about 12 months now, excellent all round. video resolution is great and on a 1 gig card (SD)which are as little as £12 you get 1 hour's video. there are loads of features, night shot, museum, too light, not enough light. overall, if you are an amateur like me then the auto mode is perfect, point and press. i have a small tripod which is perfect to just rest on a wall or dashboard. so far have taken about 2000 shots with it. one important thing is use nimh batteries thehigher the better and they will last for ever. normal alkaline batteries are done afetr about 2 mins.

definitely recommended.

Summary: great quality pictures, loads of features.

Hello Ian, and welcome to the site. If you press against the name of the camera on the site, the little bit of information given by dooyoo on the camera is more than your review. It takes a while to settle in so don't be disheartened, but writing about each part of the camera use, comparing it with others for example, why you chose it, whether it lives up to promise are all part and parcel of writing crownworthy reviews. If you edit, let me know and I shall gladly rerate. Reading a few of the awarded reviews (with little crowns next to them) may help you greatly with your presentation. Rachel X

Sorry for the NU but in essence you have not really told us anything about the camera itself, just some accesories.
