This camera is reasonably easy to learn. The picture quality is excellent for indoor and well lit outdoor photographs. I bought this for taking pictures at my childrens sporting events and am still trying to get a better quality photo for indoor action under flourescent lighting. Using the automatic settings gives either poor lighting or blurring of subject.
