Advantages: After sales service from Kodak very poor.

Disadvantages: None apart from aftersales.

I bought this as a replacement for a troublesome Jenoptik. Wow! What a camera! In my opinion, for the money, the best you can get. It works almost like a standard SLR, is lightweight, small and compact, but has all the features you could possibly want. It's so simple to use; even a small child could cope with this, and the picture quality is superb. It has restored my faith in digital cameras. Batteries seem to last forever and the flash is very effective.

Downside? When I got my camera, I just opened the box and started shooting. I met a friend who also had one, and noticed he had a lens cap. I checked my box - no lens cap - so contacted Kodak.

Kodak REFUSED to send me the missing item as it had been over a month since I bought the camera - disgusting after-sales. Back to Comet where I bought the camera back in June and I've been waiting ever since for them to send me the lens cap (promise after promise). Tonight I was advised to take the camera in for refund and immediately purchase another identical - this would be the quickest way to get a lens cap.

Apart from aftersales, then, to sum up - Brilliant camera, brilliant pictures - superb!
