Advantages: Easy to use

Disadvantages: A little too bulky

The other reviews have summed up most that is good about this camera. This camera is simple and easy to use, although I have to say that I am always learning with it - so it never gets boring...whether I am using it for concert pix or nature or family - or just simply messing around when the kitten is playing the camera and picture quality never let me down. The ease of changing from colour to Black and white to Sepia is a simple scroll through the settings button, giving added dimensions and individualtiy to each and every picture. The 10X optical zoom makes concert pix superb. The camera is great for beginners with little photo-taking experience (simple click and shoot) and the added features are excellent as you become more experienced.

The video quality is excellent on this camera than it was on my old tape videa recorder - just remember to use a large memory card in it.

Photos and videos are quickly downloaded onto the pc. I bought a rechargeable battery for my camera as I use it such a lot it was starting to cost quite a bit for new batteries.

Summary: Great for beginners but lots of features for the more experienced.
