Konica Minolta Dimage G530

Description: Model ID 2736101 / Konica Minolta DiMAGE G530 - Digital camera - 5.0 Mpix - optical zoom: 3 x - supported memory: MS, MS PRO, MMC, SD / ... more
Konica Minolta Dimage G530 ... The DiMAGE G530 is a sharp-looking, slim 23mm thin digital camera, which boasts a 5-megapixel CCD, lightning-fast response in all operations, and dual card slots for SD Memory Card and Memory Stick.

The stylish DiMAGE G530 has a 5-megapixel CCD, one of the highest resolutions for a compact digital camera. The high-performance GT Hexanon is a proprietary 3X optical zoom lens consisting of seven elements in six groups. This lens system minimizes flare and aberrations, which gives sharp, high-contrast images. Konica Minolta's proprietary signal processing engine and A IPS image processing technology ensure that anyone can take high-quality pictures that capture the subject in sharp, real-life detail.

The DiMAGE G530 also fulfils the need for operational speed. With an approximately 0.8-second startup time, an approximately 0.25-second focusing time, and incredible shutter response with an approximately 0.03-second shutter-release time lag, you can be sure of capturing that instantaneous smile on your child's face or any other precious but fleeting photo opportunity.

The built-in dual card slots accept two kinds of media: SD Memory Card and Memory Stick. This makes it possible to take and store large numbers of pictures and to copy or move picture files from one medium to the other. By connecting the DiMAGE G530 to a PictBridge-complaint printer, you can print photos out directly without the need to go through a PC. And compatibility with a wide range of digital equipment means you can enjoy transferring and editing your images in a variety of ways.

The 23-mm-thin and beautiful fully flat DiMAGE G530 evokes high quality with its aluminum and stainless steel body. The sliding cover, which turns the power on and off, enhances portability because it allows you to put the camera in a pocket or bag knowing that the lens is protected. That's the DiMAGE G530: fun to shoot pictures with, fun to carry around, and fun to show to friends.

... second(!) Just slide back the lens cover and by the before you've found the shutter button with index finger, it's ready to go. Shutter-lag too is almost non-existent. The documentation claims the shutter lag is an staggering 0.03 seconds (!) and I've not yet been able take a test photo that illustrates the problems I've had with other digital cameras. So 5 out of 5 for speed of use. Compatibility is reasonably important to us as well. When we bought the Fuji some 3-4 years ago there wasn't much to consider; CompactFlas...more

Digital cameras have arguably made a far greater impact than film cameras ever did, a quick look at the pages of Ciao reveals literally hundreds of digital models all vying for your attention and hard-earned. The majority are produced by manufacturers that are already well-established in the field of photography and all offer much the same in terms of functionality so how do you choose which is the best one for you? I faced this challenge a couple of weeks back when we were out looking for a digital camera for LegendaryMrsDude. My old Fuji Finepix F601 was playing up and was long overdue a replacement, but what to replace it with? The criteria we chose and how ...

was at a wedding on Hogmanay (I know) and EVERYONE there had a digital camera - even old people. So, I decided to get one and did some pretty thorough research. Boots had some good deals on, and I had looked at a Nikon Coolpix, a Fuji model, and then I saw this one, which was the only camera in my price bracket that offered 5 megapixels. Unfortunately, it was very new and it was difficult to find any internet reviews (like this one), but previous models, such as the G500 had generally good reviews. Also, I thought that the range of features was much better than the other cameras that I was looking at. I've always liked 'proper' cameras, and I wanted a good range ...
