Although seeming overwhelmingly bulky, the camera is lightweight and there its mechanics are simple enough that you do not need worry about mishandling it. It boasts a number of features which seem rather useless to me - colour filters, digital zoom, internal ram and an interpolated increase in resolution, but what seemed most important to me is the quality of the optics.
