Although seeming overwhelmingly bulky, the camera is lightweight and there its mechanics are simple enough that you do not need worry about mishandling it. It boasts a number of features which seem rather useless to me - colour filters, digital zoom, internal ram and an interpolated increase in resolution, but what seemed most important to me is the quality of the optics. I admit that during a concert, a dark room with rapidly changing lights, I found it difficult to take photos, but after tinkering with the ISO and white balance it became quite a good tool.
