Good entry level camera (Minolta Dimage E323)

Advantages: Great picture quality, easy to use

Disadvantages: Breaks easily

The picture quality is outstanding for a small camera, which is the reason we picked the minolta dimage. The only times it has struggled are in poor light conditions, but if you want to niggle about things like that then i guess you should be buying a proffessional camera

I did drop it a year or so ago, and the casing being made of plastic, it did quite a bit of damage. We have since repaired it with sellotape and have adapted to using it without, and the camera is still working to this day (after about two years of use). If i were to buy another camera i would probably go for something a bit more robust - as i am quite clumsy and don't want the first drop (it was about three foot) to ruin the camera. Saying that, you can get some good prices on this camera if you shop around and would be good as an entry level camera
