Minolta Dimage 7:
... have been looking for a new Digital Camera and after much deliberation I had decided either on the Fuji Film 6900Z or the Minolta Dimkage 7. Both cameras are around the same specification, both have a 6x+ Zoom and 5+ mega pixels, although the 6900Z is higher it is only 3 mega pixels which are interpolated, see my digital camera review for meaning. The Dimage 7 has a optical zoom of 7.1x and also has a digital zo... Read the full review: Dont picture it Dimage it! by mykp |

Minolta Dimage 5 ... purchased my Minolta Dimage 5 at Schiphol airport, Amsterdam, and having had about 6 weeks of use, and still not used all the features, although I think I am just about ready to write a review about the camera. Minolta Dimage 5 ... have been using 35mm cameras for around 40 years. I started using Minolta cameras 12 years ago, I always found them reliable and user friendly. I watched the growing digital market with some skepticism, looking on the digi’s as nothing more than an expensive boy’s toy. In October 2001 I decided to purchase either a Fuji 6900Z or the Minolta Dimage 5. I physically compared both cameras side by side (I had read test reports on both and also printed out sample shots from both cameras). Finally the Minolta won. This was decided on construction, power source (metal hydride AAs), design and performance. I have since found that it is a wonderful camera to use... Minolta Dimage Zoom 2330 ... the camera itself has plenty of options and works great. What I could not accomplish was the perfect picture, what I mean by that is the pictures look good but I have taken pictures with cheaper cameras and they would give me a cleaner and sharper looking picture. Even though I don 't recommend this one, Minolta has always been one of my favorite camera manufactures and I will continue to check out their cameras. They usually give you the best quality money can buy. ... Read the full review: A slight dissapointment, but still good by |
