Nikon Coolpix 900

This is a digital camera that came out sometime in 1998, it has been around for a while. It has been replace by the Nikon Coolpix 950, though there are still plenty of new ones out there that range in price from $789 to $999. For today's standards you might think 1.3 Megapixels isn't much but, this camera will surprise you. It will take up to 1280 x 960 pixels in resolution and the photo quality is beautiful. It is a different looking digital camera that pivots in the middle for the lens to point at what you want to take a photo of. Although not made anymore, if you have one of these it is an excellent camera in the 1 Mega Pixel range. It came with a 4MB Compact Flash Card and a case, serial cable for download (very slow method of download) It's a bit slow by today's standards but still churns out good image quality with a wide range of features. 3 x optical zoom and a swivel body so that you can take pictures of yourself. Consistently good pictures every time although the colour saturation could be better. Very good close up with the flash working at all distances i.e. 20cm to 3 metres.
