This was my first camera as a child and it hasn't failed me yet. This camera is fine for the amateur photographer with an adequate price tag of around £50 and also allows you to film short videos which is my favourite function. It has a 3x optical zoom and 5mpix quality which doesn't make it the best on the market but still produces quality photos. It is quite simple to use with very few buttons which makes it alot easier to delete and view photos and also makes it easy to teach others to use. The 2 inch LED screen makes it easy to see anything you are trying to take a picture of and also allows you to watch videos. It comes with a timer function allowing you to be captured in that perfect family shot. The only downside is that it requires batteries but the battery life is quite long on this camera and has a helpful standby mode so this is not that big an issue.
I always prefer "Nikon" cameras when it comes to take good pictures. And recently I bought this aweso0me Nikon camera called "Nikon Coolpix L10 Digital Camera". It is a 5 MP camera with a very good design, and lots of useful features. And the best thing is that it comes within very affordable price. Its screen is sufficiently big; it is about 2.5" wide, so it is really easy to see the images, and also to control all of its features. It has 5 million colour supports, so the display is just awesome. It also has a good quality of flash, and the image quality is really admirable, even the images taken in night time also look great. Whenever I am out for a holiday, I take this camera to capture the beautiful moments. It can also capture video in such good quality, and for that I can take videos anywhere so easily. It has 7 Mb of internal memory, but it also has memory card slots, so we can easily expand the memory. It also has PC USB connectivity, and for that I can transfer images, videos fast in my PC. It is the best digital camera to own within such affordable price.
I got given this brand new from argos for my birthday. its a fairly average camera with an average price tag. a decent amount of megapixels and image quality being fairly high but there are quite a few snags.
the camera literally eats batteries so if you take photos in quick succession the battery goes flat and you have to wait a few minutesbefore you can turn the camera on again. again because of this battery flaw even though the camera has video capture i have only been able to capture a maximum of 5 minutes. also when you upload pictures to the pc the camera has to be on, meaning the lens is out. when i was uploading images i knocked my camera and the lens bent. this meant i had to fork out more cash to repair the lens.
aside from those minor put downs. the camera is very easy to use with clear buttons that are easy to navigate and there are a decent amount of image effects.
