Nikon Coolpix P2 ... COOLPIX P2 has built-in Wi-Fi LAN support to allow picture taking without wires and cables. In addition, the camera has USB connectivity, which makes it easy to hook it up to a computer or other peripherals. Wireless transfer allows the photographer to send pictures from the memory card or the camera's internal memory direct to a selected computer on command. Wireless shooting automatically transfers each picture to a selected computer as soon as it is shot and can be viewed with Nikon's powerful PictureProject software. Wireless printing also delivers the convenience of cable-free direct printing to PictBridge-compatible printers.

This camera allows the user to correct images in-camera, thanks to the incorporation of three unique Nikon features. The D-Lighting function has the power to improve images taken with excessive back light or insufficient flash - automatically creating a copy of the selected shot, but with enhanced detail and light applied exactly where necessary.

The Portrait (Face AF) Mode has the ability to detect a human face in the frame achieving sharp focus for it when the subject is facing the camera from a typical portrait distance.

The COOLPIX P2 is compact, making it comfortable to shoot with and easy to carry virtually anywhere. It also features a newly designed grip for more confident shooting and the advantage of a large, bright and easy-to-view 2.5-inch LCD.

NOTE: the picture shown by DooYoo is NOT the Coolpix 7900! I have had this camera for about 3 months, now, and have taken a fair few pictures (many hundreds), having done some practise before 4 weeks travelling in Fiji and New Zealand. I have taken some really nice pictures and some terrible ones! One great strength of this camera is also a weakness: its size (volume and weight). I have a little belt pouch in which I have been carrying it everywhere, and it s small and light enough to do just that without any trouble. to have the equivalent number of pixels, Nikon Coolpix 775 does have over 2m. I have found with cameras that claim to have a number of pixels show poor results and have learnt that many claiming to have 2m pixels have less than 1m and enlarge the photo in much the same way as a digital zoom does, not the optical depiction enhancement that would bear out the nu mber of pixels. go look at a kodak i had seen.. but upon entering the shop.. another caught my eye. Oh what a joy to behold! lol well.... helloooo Nikon 775 !! if ever a camera could be described as sexy.. this was it.
