Advantages: Swivel Lense, strong zoom, easy to use

Disadvantages: Pictures in the dark are often blurry

The Nikon Coolpix S10 is a great camera! With its 6 Megapixel and 10 x Optical Zoom the picture quality is always high. It has many settings, and once you can remember where they are, you can take pictures on settings such as fireworks, party, indoors, landscape etc. It also offers gridlines to take landscape shots and panoramic shots enabling you to really catch that moment! The best feature on this camera is the swivel lense which allows you to take pictures of yourself whilst being able to see the screen. This is great as you don't have to keep stopping people and asking them to take your picture! However this camera is not perfect. It doesn't have a viewing lense so in bright light it is sometimes hard to see what you are taking pictures of (reflections off the screen). The lense cap is also weak and ours broke quite soon after buying it. We also ahd problems with our focus not working. However, Nikon were very good and repaired this problem quickly for us. The last issue I can think of is that taking pictures in the dark by hand often come out blurry so I would recommend using a tripod for those night pictures! Other than that I can't fault it!
