The Nikon Coolpix 2500 is a great beginners digital camera with loads of helpful settings. With a 2.0 megapixel, the photo quality is fantastic. It has a 3x Zoom Nikkor lense with telephoto and wide angle lense buttons. If you are intrested in making a video it is realy simple, just a setting the video mode up will alow you to take approx 15 to 20 sec video footage. Does help if you have a tripod just like any other digital camera that does not have anti shake settings. The Nikon Coolpix 2500 is a good camera for those wishing to enter the world of digital photography. The small, light design means that it can easily be carried in a jacket pocket, and it's robust casing make it durable too. This camera has most things you'd expect from a digicam. Pictures are of excellent quality and are downloaded to a computer using the suppied serial cable and software; a SCSI cable for use with the camera is available from your local camera shop. Capacity in this model is excellent - about 650 photos and over 50 sound clips at any one time! All pictures are at a resolution of 640x480, but the quality is good and sound is fine too.
