Description: Model ID VAA772E1 / Nikon Coolpix S7c - Digital camera - 7.1 Mpix - optical zoom: 3 x - supported memory: SD - black / A slim, sophisticated digital compact camera, the COOLPIX S7c packs good looks and great performance into compact dimensions, while offering the advantage of ... more
Nikon Coolpix S7c ... vibration reduction and innovations for in-camera image improvement.

Combining 7.1 effective megapixels of imaging performance with a 35-105mm (35mm equivalent) Zoom-Nikkor ED lens, the COOLPIX S7c can capture everything from wide-open landscapes to tight portraits with outstanding clarity and true-to-life color. And because it features a large, bright 3.0-inch LCD monitor with an unusually wide 170-degree viewing angle, it realizes smoother composition and high-quality playback anywhere. What's more, the camera offers e-VR and other Vibration Reduction capabilities that can compensate for camera shake and unsteady subjects to realize sharper, clearer results. Anti-shake mode can automatically activate e-VR and BSS that selects the sharpest image from up to ten sequential shots, while also setting the optimal ISO for steady results. High-Sensitivity mode also makes the most of the camera's exceptionally high light sensitivity by choosing the optimal setting up to ISO 1600 for the shooting of fast-moving subjects or clearer results in lower light.

The COOLPIX S7c offers the additional benefit of built-in IEEE 802.11b/g LAN support. With a Wi-Fi antenna set unobtrusively into its stylish body, it supports wireless image transfer that sends pictures to a computer on command, wireless shooting that sends each shot to a computer as soon as it's taken and wireless printing to PictBridge-compatible printers. The COOLPIX S7c is also compatible with Nikon's COOLPIX CONNECT service that lets users take pictures, then send them to friends across the world in mere seconds. What's more, it's absolutely free of charge! Just take the shots, select recipients from the in-camera address list and send them straight from the camera's built-in Wi-Fi antenna to a local wireless network.

Making it easier than ever to get great-looking pictures, the COOLPIX S7c features a handy One-touch portrait button that acts as a shortcut to three unique Nikon image innovations - with Face-priority AF automatically focusing on people's faces for satisfyingly sharp portraits, In-Camera Red-Eye Fix allowing photographers to compensate for unwanted red-eye effects in-camera, and D-Lighting rescuing underexposed images or shots taken with too much backlight. Satisfying shooting is made easier still with a choice of 15 Scene modes.

Extending the enjoyment beyond shooting, the COOLPIX S7c offers the in-camera entertainment of Pictmotion - a function that lets users select their favorite images and movies as well as music and visual styles ready for the COOLPIX S7c to combine them automatically in-camera to produce audiovisual shows that can be enjoyed anywhere on the large built-in LCD. The camera also features a new Stop-motion movie function that lets users create professional-looking animated movies.

Nikon adds to the photographic versatility of the COOLPIX S7c by supplying the COOL-STATION MV-15 with the camera. Handy cradles allowing the camera to be simply slipped in, they allow batteries to be recharged without them having to be removed from the camera. It also features a USB port and can easily be hooked up to a TV. Also included is a Dock Insert PV-11, which adds immediate direct print performance with ImageLink-compatible printers. And, like all COOLPIX cameras, the COOLPIX S7c comes complete with Nikon's unique PictureProject software that makes it surprisingly easy to edit, organize and share images and is compatible with a range of available plug-ins for further functionality.

adequate features, and be able to slowly introduce an amateur to the world of digital photography. Having taken into consideration various offers from various websites, it was decided that the Nikon Coolpix 4600 would be our best option when considering we had no previous experience of even using a digital camera. It offered all the features a buyer would need for first time use; zoom lens, red eye reduction, top quality pictures themselves, video capture and many other handy attributes. Righty ho then. † Features † * 4.0 megapixels * 3x zoom lens (to the standard of 34-102mm on 35mm camera) * Advanced red-eye reduction (automatically detects and corrects potential ...

Nikon Coolpix 4300

Premium Review All things to all photographers... (354 words)

Rating:

The Nikon Coolpix 4300 is my second digital camera, and I have been using it now for 6 months and can thoroughly recommend it. You can choose to be very lazy and literally just point-and-shoot and get excellent results ? but should the mood take you, you can take control of virtually any or all of its functions, which puts you in complete control of a very capable photographic tool. As an amateur photographer with around 30 years experience, I?ve always had a 35mm SLR with interchangeable lenses for ?serious? work, plus a smaller compact camera for more ?informal? occasions where you just want to stick a small camera in your pocket for quick ?snapshots?. The Nikon ...

Premium Review Nikon Coolpix, The Cool Camera (756 words)

Rating:

The Nikon Coolpix 4300 is the first ever digital camera I bought. At the time I bought the camera I wanted it to be able to take decent photos in all sorts of different light conditions and different situations. I was very impressed with this camera when I first bought it as I found that inside the box there wasn t just a camera, there was various different photo programs that came with the camera as well as a few different leads such as a USB cable so you can transfer images from your camera to the computer. One of the first things I felt let down with though was the lack of a memory card. Unfortunately the Nikon Coolpix 4300 does not come with a memory card but that is ...
