An impressive D-SLR Camera at an impressive price. (Nikon D40)
Member Name: gonowheres
Advantages: Ease of use, adaptability for different conditions, compact, solid and very good picture quality. Disadvantages: None. For the price and as a starter kit this camera ticks all the right boxes. It's easy to use, attractive, lightweight, takes very good photographs and ultimately is kind on the wallet. It is essentially a great beginner's D-SLR camera. Now you may be thinking that at a cheap price and my reference to the Nikon D40 as a 'beginner's' camera, you will be sacrificing a great portion of quality. But this is not the case. It is solid, multi-funtionable, and provides incredible 'point-and-shoot' snaps for a not so dear price. It is easy to connect to the computer and the photos are easily malleable with every photo software imaginable that every hardened technophobe will be thanking their lucky stars. Of course after a few years perhaps you will be moving onto bigger and better things but the Nikon D40 is more than capable to fill even the biggest boots. Summary: One of the best intermediate and begginer's D-SLR's on the market.
