D40X - D Best camera I have had (Nikon D40x)

Advantages: So many features and help facilities. Also Pretty decent price.

Disadvantages: No lens auto cleaning

Hi there everyone.
Firstly i'd like to say that i am a starting photographer and that i have really only been doing it as a hobby for the last few months. I had purchased the D40x about one and a half months ago and using it has realy been a treat. It has to be one of the best cameras for amateur and budding photographers and would also be very good for use as a developed photographer. I have to admit though, i have not been able to use all of the functions, as there are just so many, but this is what makes the camera so good.
One of the things that i love and would help just about anyone wanting to do photography is there is a button to explain each of the settings and the result of changing these settings. This is just an amazing feature that i have not noticed on any other camera (i might have just not seen the right cameras).
However there are more things that i just love, the software that comes with the camera is really good and simple to use. You can view and edit the photos to make them look even more professional.
One thing that the camera does lack though is the auto lens cleaning facility, but i suppose this shouldn't really be a problem if you are careful with the camera.
Anyway thats about all i have to say, but to finish, it is really a dream of a camera for anyone.
The camera is being sold for around £370 with an 18-55mm lens.

Summary: A very good camera for anyone who wants to become a photographer.
