I purchased my camera for about £800, the Camera is Perfect for anyone moving up from a Compact to an SLR Camera. The camera came with it's own lense with the option to buy others
The First Differences I have seen from my old Nikon made Fuji is the change of memory card from Compact Flash to San Disk...The Accuracy of the multi-focus...It also comes with a Lithium-Ion Battery which charges alot faster than the standard AA batteries of other cameras...

The Nikon D90 is one of the first Digital SLR Camera's to record video in high definition...It has the option of filming in 1280 x 720 Resolution in an interlaced format...It can also Film in Progressive Format which is in the same principle as how a cinematic camera films...
It also has a 96% frame coverage and 12.3 million effective pixels.
The Play back of images is very easy, all you do is press the play button and shift through the images using either the Horizontal dial with your thumb or the arrow keys, I find this alot better than a Radial Dial on some cameras.
There is also an option to use a GPS receiver so that you can take photos and have them bookmarked.
Another Good Feature is the image sensor cleaning, which means if you change lenses a lot and get dust in there you won't need to go into the lens housing to clean the sensor yourself as the camera assists you to remove the dust via a senser shake mechanism

Summary: Best Camera for 2009 for me
