Nikon D60: ... Its extremely simple to use and you will be shooting pics in seconds. Leave it in AUTO if your not sure and the camera does the rest of the work for you. 10.2Megapixel is fantastic and is more than enough if your only using it for yourself. Its fab for any motorsport pics, aviation, birds etc etc... Awesome pics from it and a bargain for the price of it... cant stress how good and easy it is.. Wooo Nikon Nice one....

	Nikon D60 ... previously owned both the Nikon D40, and D40x, I must say i m instantly impressed by this model. Having said that, the three cameras are all very similar in design, and output. The D60 adds an innovative dust reduction system which works when the camera starts up and shuts down, and also a stop-motion movie mode. The images the D60 takes can be quite superb - especially noticeable if you ve just upgraded from a compact camera. Noise levels are very low at iso 100-400, and even images taken at iso 1600 are more than useable. There is also a HI iso setting which is equivalent to iso 3200 for use in low light situations. 	Nikon D40 ... camera. The only downside is that you cannot simply slip this into your pocket however, once you start using this camera you will not be able to put it down. The final image quality is head and shoulders above the compact cameras I have owned prior to this (even the excellent Canon Ixus ones) and this is in part down to the much larger sensor that this type of camera has. The beauty of the Nikon D40 is that even in automatic mode I have produced consistently stunning photographs. So whilst you can have artistic control over your photos by manually adjusting the camera you can also be safe in the knowledge that letting the camera make the necessary adjustments for y... 	Nikon D80 ... owned two Nikon SLR s in the past, an F301 and an F90x, the F90 I had to sell to help pay Mr Tax Man , I was ready for a DSLR. I d been using a digital compact for a couple of years but when I saw the D80 on the cover of a magazine, I knew I had to have it!! The D80 has that classic Nikon look and feel to it. Nice and chunky and a good balance in your hands but not too heavy. You feel that if you were to drop it it d be fine. On first using the D80, I set it to its Auto setting, just to get used to it. The auto setting does everything for you...anyone buying a camera like this won t be using auto though....you only use auto if your drunk or give it to someon...
