Advantages: quick, easy, affordable
Disadvantages: battery consumption
I bought this camera knowing nothing in the world about digital cameras. The instructions were clear and within 20 minutes I was up and running Point, click and hey presto you have your picture you can view this picture in the lcd monitor. It comes complete with connector for your computer that was very easy also and it has its own software I wanted a digital camera so that I could send pictures via e-mail and this little camera is so easy to use. Take your picture; just point and click then view your picture on the monitor. Install the software on to your computer and plug the usb cable from your computer into the camera, open up your e mail, view pictures, then insert into your e mail. I cannot believe how simple it all is, and it takes good images as well. Comes with a warranty and 4 batteries. It does however only take 3 photos into its memory. You have to buy a smart card that allows you to take more pictures and save them, also I found that I was using a lot of batteries and so bought a ac adapter to plug into the mains supply when connected to my computer. I suppose that after I had bought all these additional items it would have probably been cheaper to go for the next model up which included these items.
