Have had this model as my first digital camera, mainly for the ease of AA batteries, i make sure i have a spare set of rechargeable ones as this camera can drain the batteries pretty fast, but then most of them do. The front cover slides therefore protects the lens, a good thing and keeps it dust free. First ime can be little diffucult to suss out, but once you figure out the buttons you are well away. Has a zoom feature too, nice little compact camera. Picture quality is superb and the colour pretty spot on too. Instuctions are daunting there's that many of them. I have lost my driver disc but can still transfer pictures to my computer.
For first choice i made a good choice.
