Well, following several happy years with my C-990 I felt it was time for an upgrade. I always felt the optical zoom was somewhat lacking on the 990 so I thought the ultra zoom model would be a good bet. I had my eye on the 770 model, but following discussions with those ever-friendly people at Jessops, decided that the 760 was a good compromise between price and features. fortune on a digital compact! but alas...I did some homework and decided the digital imaging technology could no longer be ignored. after some months of agonising, I plumped for the Olympus C-750 (but could just as well have gone for the panasonic Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ10).
