This quite frankly is a stunningly good camera, and produces pictures that will take your breath away. 2.1 Megapixel resolution might not seem too great these days, but the optics on this camera keep it firmly ahead of the pack. A x10 optical zoom (before using the digital zoom trick mode) with image stabilisation, makes it easy to get superb crisp shots every time. Battery life is average (these cameras all drink power!) and suffers if you use the power zoom and preview LCD screen often. This has to be the best camera I've ever bought. It's easy to use in "point & shoot" mode and it has manual anything and everything so you can be as creative as you need to be. Image quality is first-rate, the zoom lens is terrific, it's fast and easy to use.
