This camera is one of the best buys I have ever made. With 8 million mega pixels it is the only camera you will ever need no matter what your photographic ability. The e-300 is at home taking high quality close up shots for my own website as well as taking every day pictures of my children and pets. Battery life is average but easy charged and spare batteries easilly availible for a very reasonable amount. The compact flash cards are also readilly availible which is something that lets other older cameras down. the camera is not light but not as heavy as others on the market, it is quite well designed menus are easy to navigate however ... Wow, what can i possible say, THIS CAMERA IS AWESOME! My dad purchased this item a while ago now and is still discovering new useul features. With its 8.0 million pixels you will be very impressed with the clarity and quality of the pictures. My dad is a very keen photographer but he doesn't get on wll with most new technologies but with the User-friendly menu plus full manual operation he finds it a breeze! The battery lasts quite a long while but i would reccommend charging it approximately once a week depending on usage this can vary- as i say my dad uses it most days.
