This camera is one of the best buys I have ever made. With 8 million mega pixels it is the only camera you will ever need no matter what your photographic ability.

The e-300 is at home taking high quality close up shots for my own website as well as taking every day pictures of my children and pets.

Battery life is average but easy charged and spare batteries easilly availible for a very reasonable amount. The compact flash cards are also readilly availible which is something that lets other older cameras down.

the camera is not light but not as heavy as others on the market, it is quite well designed menus are easy to navigate however the more novice user would maybe find them a touch confusing. This can be cured by a small amoount of reaserch and plenty of practice taking pictures using the various settings. Alternativly you could just set the camera to Auto and let the camera do the work.
