It takes good photos in every kind of weather and the quality of print is definitely sufficient for the kind of photos I want, which are just normal every day ones, nothing professional! However, there are definitely problems and these maybe only started as it got older. For example when I turn the camera on it takes ages to take the first photo. For some reason it kind of sticks and you have to be patient, which can ...more

Premium Review Olympus FE-100: Decent camera (232 words)

Rating:

I previously owned a big Panasonic brick digital camera and when that gave up I got this camera. I was given it as a present, so it was great value for money, but I think at the time it cost £100. I have had it for a couple of years so I am sure there are many more modern and smaller cameras - and to be honest I might end up ditching this one to get one of thise smaller, better cameras! Premium Review Great little cam (357 words)
by - written on 15/08/08 (Useful, 13 readings)
Rating:

This is a great little camera definitely one of the best models in its price range. From the front it is a great looking camera but on the back it is quite busy, all the buttons are needed. The part i dont like is that it uses a sort of cog to change the mode this is quite difficult to use as sometimes it doesn't move and then when you put a bit of welly into getting it to go round it goes to far and on to the wrong setting. The screen is quite small but yet again it is a small camera so it does fit in quite hard to see the picture you have taken. When you plug the camera into your pc and blow them up though it is very good picture quality also when you have blown ...  Read the complete review

by - written on 13/04/07 (Somewhat useful, 44 readings)
Rating:

This camera is quite okay for normal use. The main problem with it is that you need to press and hold the button for a few seconds before it takes the picture. Thus a) one's hand often shakes and the picture is out of focus b) the subject moves (especially if it's a wriggly baby, as in my case!) The good thing about it is that it comes with an adaptor like a thumb drive making transferring pictures to a computer an absolute breeze. No need to fiddle with cables and ...  Read the complete review
