Advantages: Small light weight

Disadvantages: Not so good at night

I have had my Olympus 410 digital camera for just over a year now and must say I love it. I take it everywhere, it will slip into your jeans pocket or even a small handbag. Just the thing for those ' spur of the moment ' events that life is made up of, just to snap a memory. The draw back is if you take it out at night to a pub or club everytime you close the lens barrier you will need to reset for a dark room as it does'nt seem to do this automaticlly. The package that came with mine had everything in it to start you off, with extra battery and memory card. One tip is DO NOT turn camera onto its side to take long pictures as they are not so good when printing from your PC. The program to print from PC is included and although fairly basic will make calenders etc.
The new lithium batteries are a must to any serious snapper as the re-charge very qiuckly and hold charge for ages.
So as I say a great little camera just the job for catching those memories, I would not part with mine . . . happy snapping.

Summary: Not for the serious photographer but great to keep in your handbag to catch those special moments.
