Results as good as 35mm Nikon (Olympus µ[MJU:] 400 Digital)
Member Name: dzynbydzyn
Advantages: Compact, Excellent results, Easy to use Disadvantages: None, None, None
This camera is one of the best available. The previous reviewer here has suggested that the camera is useless - that is certainly not my experience. I am a professional photographer and have used this camera extensively whilst travelling. I have taken many stunning pictures and in many cases the results rivals those from my conventional Nikon 35mm. I have compared the results with those from similarly specified Nikon, Fuji and Sony - in all cases the Olympus was the best. Battery life is excellent - I always carry a spare but rarely need it in a days shooting. I installed a 256MB XD Card which is quite adequate for my needs. This camera is easy to use, robust, weatherproof (don't try taking it underwater though) and produces superb results. The software that comes with it is also very good and allows for automatic stitching of panoramas. Don't be put off by the previous reviewer - his experience is not the norm! If you buy one of these, you won't be disappointed. Summary: |
