A solid camera. Reliable and the 12.0 mega pixels are greater than many SLRs. Therefore, tit is a professional experience to print off your pictures. However, since 12.0 mega pixels is a lot, it knocks the price up when you only realistically need 8 or 10 mega pixels if you are interested in doing pro work. The zoom is excellent and the OS has a high quality feel without being complicated. The best way to describe it is a mac. It is expensive, has features you don't need but is the best out there and everyone knows it. One thing I would pick at is that Olympus has only launched commercial rather than professional cameras recently and so you have to worry about the long term impact. It really doesn't affect the few months I have had it. It looks good, the flash lights without shadow and the video has a high enough fps. An excellent camera.

Summary: Get it if you can afford it.
