Olympus µ[MJU:] Digital 800

I bought this camera as I had started an online business selling products and needed to be able to take clear, professional-quality product photos. The Olympus MJU 800 did not disappoint! As an 8 mega pixel camera, the picture quality is excellent and the camera has a range of built-in pre-defined "scenes" for shooting under different conditions (examples include: landscape, portrait, night shot, sport, indoor etc.). The main thing that attracted me to this camera was the pixel count. Unfortunatly, a year or more on, I am still a little disappointed. I have taken many great photographs with it, however, I feel it has taken too much effort. The shutter speed is disappointingly slow - too bad if you see something interesting flying past and want to photograph it - you'll be unable to! Non-flash nighttime shots are also poor, unless you set it to low quality or use a tripod. The amount of times I have been in a foreign city with lots of lights and been frustrated at being unable to take a decent picture!
