A bought this refurbished about four years ago and it has been an excellent camera.
I found it quite easy to operate -it has a range of 'scene' options such as 'indoor', 'behind glass' 'beach and snow', 'landscape', 'portrait' and many more. This make it easy to take good quality photos without any photography skills.
I go walking in the lakes a lot so I have tested the 'All Weather' capability of the camera and have never had a problem.
One of the downsides is that it is slow to react - if you want to catch a picture of a beautiful bird or something then you'd best hope it stays where it is for about 5 minutes until the camera is ready (this might be a slight exaggeration but you get the idea).
The video on it is pretty good and also has sound.
I must admit that I am now considering replacing it just because technology moves on so quickly and I can probably get something better than this for under £100. However, if you're thinking of buying one of these second hand and you want a point and shoot camera that you can get damp then I would recommend it.
