A bought this refurbished about four years ago and it has been an excellent camera. I found it quite easy to operate -it has a range of 'scene' options such as 'indoor', 'behind glass' 'beach and snow', 'landscape', 'portrait' and many more. This make it easy to take good quality photos without any photography skills. I go walking in the lakes a lot so I have tested the 'All Weather' capability of the camera and have never had a problem. One of the downsides is that it is slow to react - if you want to catch a picture of a beautiful bird or something then you'd best hope it stays where it is for about 5 minutes until the camera is ready (this might be a slight exaggeration but you get the idea). The video on it is pretty good and also has sound. I must admit that I am now considering replacing it just because technology moves on so quickly and I can probably get something better than this for under £100. However, if you're thinking of buying one of these second hand and you want a point and shoot camera that you can get damp then I would recommend it.
Incased in a stylish and protective stainless steel, weatherproof body, the µ[MJU: ] DIGITAL 810 draws envious glances wherever you take it. Your pictures will be the focus of envy as well: a 8.0 million pixel resolution, 3x optical zoom, BrightCapture Technology and Digital Image Stabilization Edit make sure of that. Frame your shots perfectly even in poor light with the large 6.4cm LCD that presents a live view much brighter than conventional systems. And with Digital Image Stabilization Edit, you can now rescue those one-off shots that somehow came out blurry.
