This is an absolutely fantastic camera. I have recently bought this, and have nothing but good things to say about it. The waterproof feature is great, and so useful if you are a little adventerous (or a little careless!) same goes for the shockproof feature. I haven't tested how shockproof it is so cannot confirm how robust it is but is feels very sturdy and many of my friends have told me theirs is almost indestructable. The 10 megapixel camera is more than ample for everyone apart from the most meticulous photographer. The zoom is also very good, expecially considering it doesn't have a protruding lens.
