Since having this camera its been everywhere i have been. I'm an active chap, and have taken this to the hills and moors of Dartmoor to the Peak district. It also stays in my pocket whilst mountain biking and with me in my canoe. Whilst i'm no David Bailey, i am one of those people who will always have a camera on my travels! My photographs are precious to me and i'm sure they are to many others. If your after a 'multi-role' camera this has to be it! I have had many Olympus cameras, all of the compact style. My original requirement to purchase this camera was the fact that my good lady bless her fell into the sea whilst on holiday and subsequently broke our cameras, phones and ipod... I have had this product for a while now and I have never had a camera before that has lasted me this long. I first noticed people using these cameras when i was travelling. Immediatly I wanted one. Everyone else was taking there cameras out to the sea etc and I was missing out on some great pictures because I was worried I would break mine. The camera features a variety of amendments and has a great quality ( I have a hobby of photography and sometimes just use this camera rather than an slr) The camera has a five optical zoom and a staggering 14 mega pixels. With a variety of cool features, amazing picture quality, a five optical zoom and 14 mega pixel, this camera is a superb winner in my book, by far the best digital camera I`ve ever owned, enjoying both the stylish, super modern design to the features, including HD video recording and photo surfing. Yeah, so the camera costs quite a bit, mine the price of 275.99, but it really is money well spent and I don`t regret the choice of buying this camera at all! The Olympus Tough-8010 is a very solid and sturdy camera, its aluminium exterior protecting the camera from bumps and scratches, also adding to the modern design of the product.
