When previewing photos on the built in screen, zooming makes the picture appear a little blurry. Downloading them and viewing them on a decent sized monitor results in a crystal clear picture. Wow, what can i possible say, THIS CAMERA IS AWESOME! My dad purchased this item a while ago now and is still discovering new useul features. With its 8.0 million pixels you will be very impressed with the clarity and quality of the pictures. My dad is a very keen photographer but he doesn't get on wll with most new technologies but with the User-friendly menu plus full manual operation he finds it a breeze! The battery lasts quite a long while but i would reccommend charging it approximately once a week depending on usage this can vary- as i say my dad uses it most days.
